This certification represents the automotive industry’s first cybersecurity management standard covering the entire product lifecycle—from concept development, production, and operation to decommissioning—imposing stringent cybersecurity requirements across all supply chain stages.
COSMX has completed a systematic upgrade spanning "cybersecurity management framework" to "full lifecycle risk control." Key metrics, including DDoS attack resistance, encrypted data transmission, and firmware integrity verification, now meet military-grade standards. The solution withstands 99.8% of known cyber threats, redefining power battery safety benchmarks by combining hardware and network-protection mechanisms—moving beyond traditional "physical safety-only" approaches.
Under EU regulatory requirements, new vehicle models sold in EU must pass Cybersecurity Type Approval (VTA). The certification obtained by COSMX now serves as the core technical basis for VTA, laying the groundwork for its expansion in the European passenger vehicle market.
Concurrently, COSMX is building a dual-supply chain system spanning China and overseas. Its Malaysia factory is nearing completion and will soon commence operations, enabling cost-efficient mass production and agile global distribution.
